Hi Pete,
Thank you for your detailed description, it is hard to find that type of information online. I am still unsure if the male has received the eggs, as the female looks a tiny bit slimmer but not much, hard to tell. The male has been reclusive and hiding all day today and does not come out to eat, only will eat from under the live rock. I thought this behavior was more common during the last few days of pregnancy. Could this behavior be common the day of as well/this early on? It is a young pair of seahorses so this is their first time breeding.
