Greetings Pete,
I am very interested in getting started on the certification training. I am new to sea horses but have a 220 reef tank up and running with various soft corals and fish, including a mated pair of gold banded maroon clowns, Christmas wrath, green mandarin, yellow tang, fox face and a gobe. Various invertebrates including a large carpet anemone and a large cleanup crew. This tank has been up and running for 9 months.
I recently purchased a 28 gallon nano cube that is fully cycled using some of the live rock from my existing reef tank and that is where I would like to start a small herd of sea horses. The dimensions of this tank are as follows 18″ x 22″ x 22″ high. And here is the rest of the specs:
105 watt 10,000°K/7,100°K compact fluorescent lighting
Nite-Vu LED lighting
(2)Powerheads 266 gph/16watt only (1) currently in use
3-stage filtration with removable media basket with Center overflow system
Designated area for a protein skimmer which I have recently purchased a Coralife BioCube Protein Skimmer but do not have it running yet
What else do you need to know?
