Dear fuzz:
I’m very sorry to hear that your stallion didn’t make it. All my condolences on your loss.
I would treat the female as previously discussed. Administer a formalin bath and then transfer her to your hospital tank and treat her aggressively with antibiotics (neomycin + triple sulfa or sulfathiozole sodium or TMP-sulfa) in conjunction with reducing the water temperature and feeding her Vibrance-enriched Mysis to give her a daily dose of beta-glucan.
Best of luck treating your female, dafuzz.
Respectfully,
Pete Giwojna
