Hi Nicole,

Welcome!

It is usually a good idea to add seahorses before the other fish, so they can settle in. Once they are settled in, comfortable and eating well then you can add tankmates.

THere are several fish that do well with seahorses….
In a 38g any of the following would do well…
Cardinalfish either the Banggai or Polkadot
Assessors
Clownfish either the Ocellaris or Percula
Wrasses any of the smaller Lined, Flasher or Fairy
Gobies
Firefish
Midas Blenny
Orchid Dottyback
Black Cap Gramma
Jawfish
Fathead Anthias

There you go that list should help.
