Thanks again for your help, Pete. I meant to reply much sooner, but I have been quite busy. Last Wednesday I received 8 Dwarf Seahorses and a pair of Dwarf Pipefish. I thought the male pipefish might be pregnant. Imagine my surprise the very next morning when I found what appeared to be dog hairs in the aquarium!! Of course they turned out to be newborn pipes, 15 in all. I "fished" them out so that I could keep a closer eye on them, putting them in one of those hang-on isolation containers inside the aquarium. I added a floating length of caulerpa so they’d feel secure. I feed them twice a day, BBS and frozen cyclops. I feed some of the cylcops to the main tank, too. The parents love it (it’s a bit bigger than BBS) and some of the ‘horses even snick it up. I siphon the bottom of the fry container nightly with a turkey baster and add some tank water to make up for what I took out. So far, so good. All 15 are somehow still alive and thriving. If you have any information on raising them, it would be greatly appreciated. If not I understand since this is a seahorse forum. In the meantime, I am raising them like Dwarf seahorse fry.

Thanks again!
Kaitlyn
