Dear jomo:
Yes, your 15-gallon aquarium is spacious enough to support a whole herd of dwarf seahorses or Pixies (Hippocampus zostrae), but they are not a good choice for anyone who is not prepared to hatch out large quantities of brine shrimp on a daily basis. A few dozen of these pipe-sized pigmy ponies could live happily in a 15-gallon aquarium, or you could set up a small 2-5 gallon tank with a simple air operated sponge filter for a few of them. But they are definitely more demanding to keep than the larger seahorses because of their requirement for copious amounts of live food on a daily basis.
I certainly agree with you regarding your clownfish (Amphiprion occelaris) — they are among my favorite marine fish as well. (Heck, who could resist keeping a pair of real live Nemos in their tank?)
Best wishes with all your fishes, jomo!
Happy Trails!
