Thanks for the help Pete. I have the fluorescent light option on my tank so that’s good to know. The return for the pump has a flexible line that separates into two spray nozzles that are flattened-out. I have one spraying directly foward and one towards the center of the tank, both across the top of the water to try to minimize turbulence. Can any fish pieces be used for the ammonia process? We have some fresh fish from the supermarket that I could cut a small piece off of and put in the tank. Also, what size should I use and do I leave it in until it is gone or just until the cycle has completed? Thanks again.
