Dear Carrie:
Actually, we don’t want it to warm up TOO much here right now — this is the prime hard-water fishing season in Minnesota (you need a good foot or two of ice to drive on it safely)! But a little warmer would be nice when you’re standing out on the ice baiting hooks and pulling up perch, walleyes, crappies, and the occasional trophy northern…
Carol says Ocean Rider probably won’t be offering Spikeys (Hippocampus barbouri) for sale again until this summer. They want to build up their numbers of mature specimens before they bring the next crop(s) to market.
Best of luck with the rest of your seahorses in the meantime, Carrie!
Happy Trails!
