Thanks for all the information Pete! My last little guy is doing well now…. he is in another tank along with two pretty old seahorses I have had for quite awhile. He really hasn’t been eating, but I am hoping tonight when I get home he will.
I closely examined the piece of coral I feel contaminated my tank and there are two places, very inconspicuous, that the arms are broken off. I wonder if possibly this could have leached a contaminate into the tank. I took it back to the pet store this afternoon to talk to the owner, as I buy most of my supplies there. He seemed quite baffled by the situation.
At any rate….. I have tested the water today at my lab and the ammonia and nitrates are undetectable. I guess this was a learning experience, but one I could have done without. It is very sad.
Thanks again……..
Kris
