Hi! I am looking to buy a female abdominalis. I was wondering if seahorse.com had any available, atleast 8mths old? I\’ve emailed, but have gotten nowhere. Who do I call to find out this information and make a specific order?

Captive-bred-and-raised Hippocampus abdominalis seahorses are in stock at Ocean Rider (seahorse.com), where they are marketed under the trade name of "Brumbry," after the wild horses that still roam the outback in Australia. Males and females of all of the seahorses Ocean Rider offers are available, so I cannot imagine why H. abdominalis would be any different. As a rule, you are free to specify the gender of the seahorses you wish to receive when you place an order. Just use the "Comments" section on the online order form to specify that you are interested in a female Hippocampus abdominalis only, and that the female you receive must be at least eight months old. Furthermore, be sure to tell them that if they cannot provide you with the female H. abdominalis that is at least eight months old at this time, then they should cancel your order. Ask them to contact you and verify that they can provide you with a female Brumbry that is eight months of age or older before they process your order. And be sure to specify the date on which you want the seahorse to be delivered.
You can also contact Ocean Rider at the following numbers:
Telephone: 808-329-6840
Fax: 808-329-6841Best of luck obtaining the mature female H. abdominalis you were seeking!
Happy Trails!
