Hi, i just registered. Im not a seahorse breeder, but i do love seahorses. They\’re amazing. I am an art student and work mainly in jewelry and small sculpture. One idea I\’m trying to work on at the moment is a sea horse sculpture. I know this might be an odd question, but i hope it doesnt offend anyone. Basically from what i\’ve heard seahorses are very difficult to raise in captivity. I was recently at a pet store asking about seahorses and they mentioned that they\’d tried to breed them but two had died. One, a female, they gave me. What I do is make molds of them and cast them in bronze.
I would really like more specimens to work on. I would rather not buy dried seahorses because I dont want to support the trade. I\’d rather just make use of a seahorse that died of natural causes. If any of you have dead seahorses (sorry, that sounds terrible), would you mind selling or giving them to me?
