I have set up a 5.5 gallon Dwarf Seahorse tank. I have done my research. I’m prepared to feed live brine everyday. I know the dangers of hydroids, how to prevent them, as well as kill them in the event they appear. It is currently cycling I haven’t added a substrate and I have plastic plants in there now. I’m contemplating adding black sand, but wasn’t sure if bare bottom is better. I also don’t like the idea of just plastic plants. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good macro algae to add. I was thinking the red grape algae, it looks really nice but I’m not sure of the care level it needs. I was also thinking of adding a small piece of dry rock. My final question is after hatching the brine shrimp I was told keep some and create an enrichment. Could someone please explain to me how I do that. Any thoughts, concerns or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
