Hello again.
I was wondering if you have ideas other than Vibrance for enriching. I went to order the Vibrance from OR and the site said FedEx ground is not available. I can not justify 45 dollars for shipping. Do you know why they wont send ground it use to be 15 dollars. Anyway I have H.Barbouri and wanted to enrich the frozen mysis-as I said I prefer Vibrance but until they change there shipping can you suggest something else good for seahorses. Thank you so much for your time.:dry:June 12, 2008 at 4:43 am #4257Pete GiwojnaGuestDear arcprolife:
I don’t fill orders for Ocean Rider and I can’t offer any insights into their shipping policies except to say that, of course, all their livestock must be shipped from Hawaii to the mainland by air initially. I’m not sure what their shipping policy for dry goods may be…
There are quite a number of enrichment products available that you can consider as an alternative to Vibrance. Some of the commercial enrichment products commonly used by professional breeders are listed below:
AlgaMac 2000 (Biomarine Aquafauna)
AlgaMac Enhance
Astaxanthene biological pigment Natu-Rose
Beta Meal
Culture HUFA
DHA Easy Selco
Larviva MultiGain
MicroMac 70
Roti-Rich
Selcon Concentrate
Selco (Aquatic Ecosystems)Such products are typically rich in amino acids, highly unsaturated fatty acids (HUFA) and vitamins, but the Vibrance formulations are the only ones that include beta glucan as a primary ingredient to stimulate the immune system.
Best wishes with all your fishes, arcprolife!
Happy Trails!

OR returned my call and let me know that even though it says 45 dollars at checkout it will auto adjust to 15 dollars before your card is charged. Thanks again- I wanted to clarify for anyone that reads this that it is only 15 dollars shipping on dry goods only.:P
