Sea Horse rearing system for sale
It contains two stands, 6 tanks, two sumps, several pumps, air pumps, tubing, piping, heaters, filters and live sea horses and fish along with hermet crabs and snails.
Two 5 gallon fry tanks, One 10 gallon grow out tank, One 17 gallon grow out tank, One 9 gallon Dwarf tank, One 55 gallon adult tank.
3 smaller tanks for fry are on one 22 gallon sump with live sand, and a protein skimmer, heaters, pumps, canister filter. System is operating and been in use for approximately 9 months.
Main system has One grow out tank, Dwarf tank and main tank, 45 gallon sump with heaters, pumps, protein skimmer, system has been operating for over two years.
Live fish, sea horses and cleaning crew included are:
5 juveniles H. Erectus, 3 female and two male 4 months old already mated once
4 adult H. Erectus, two male and two female, mated many times
4 pipe fish
5 adult H. Zostre, mated several times
1 fry, one month old H. Erectus
2 clown fish
1 bagaie cardinal
Several cleaner shrimp and hermet crabs and snails
Two stands and all plumbing.
The systems are up and running, all works fine. We hate to sell this but we are just out of time to provide the adequate care for the fish. We have had great luck with breeding
these sea horses. The systems run great and are balance so little maintenance is required. I do water changes every 3 weeks, about 20 gallons in each system. As long as you do not grossly overfeed then no ammonia spikes or nitrite spikes occur and the systems take care of themselves pretty much except for the glass cleaning.
