The type or brand of the aquarium isn’t nearly as important as the dimensions. At aquarium of at least 40 gallons is recommended, since that volume of water will make it easier to maintain stable conditions and provide a better margin for error. A 65-gallon tank is it excellent choice in terms of the greater stability it will provide!
As you know, good height is also very important for a seahorse setup, and I would not recommend keeping large seahorses such as Mustangs or Sunbursts (H. erectus), Spikeys (H. barbouri), Brazileros (H. reidi), Gigantes (H. ingens), Pintos, SunFires or Fire Reds in a tank less than 20 inches tall. I would suggest selecting an Extra-High or Tall aquarium of 55-65 gallons with a standard rectangular footprint. You should be able to find an aquarium 24 inches or taller that meets those criteria and add which would do very nicely.
I sent you an e-mail off list with a lot of additional information on setting up a new aquarium to create an ideal environment for your seahorses, Tammy.
In addition, don’t forget that you can search the forum for any information in which you have an interest. There is a rectangular window in the upper right-hand corner (just above the page numbers) on the forum with the words "search forum" in it. Just type the word or phrase you are looking for into that window and press "Enter" on your keyboard, and the results of your search will pop up in just a few moments. For example, if you type in "newbie" or "new to seahorses" or "tank set-up advice," you’ll find some detailed discussions explaining how to create an optimum environment for seahorses in your aquarium.
Best wishes with all your fishes, Tammy!
Happy Trails!
