Good day all,
Here\’s one for ya. I think I\’ve seen what has been taking out my hermit crabs, and emerald crabs.
I found behind my rocks a long worm like creature smooth with both light and dark gray stipes along side of its body. It almost looked like it was dark gray on one side, and light gray on the other. It was protruding from below my rock, resting on the substrate. It moved alot like an elephants trunk only I couldn\’t see the other end of it. I found it while looking with a flashlight tonight, and it moved back into the rock as soon as I hit it with the light. It\’s coming out of a little cave made by gaps in the rock, and substrate. It uses the tip of the trunk to feel it\’s way around the top of the substrate. Many of my hermit crab shells are littering the opening of the cave, and also the emerald crab shells. The cave is behind my rockwall.
Does anyone have any clue what this little critter might be?
Thanks again all
Have a great day!
