Ok, Where in the world is all my calcium going??? I have the calcium from Reef advantage calcium Seachem. I check the calcium and PH every day at the same time and sometimes at various times….
On the instructions it says to add 5g but not exceed 10g a day….. 5g raises the level of calcium by 12mg/L.
I started out at about 350 mg/L and have added 2 teaspoons a day for the past 2 weeks, and yet my calcium hardly goes up. I was starting to get readings of 400 mg/L, but today…….wham right back down again to 350 mg/L…..
Can this be??? On the bottle it says to \"add to tank every 2 weeks….\"
I run my protien skimmer at night, does the skimmer take calcuim away????
Any ideas where the calcium is going??
